INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES
Important: Paper-I will consist of one Question Booklet containing 150 MCQ.
1. In case of any controversy, english version will be considered the correct version.
2. The Candidate must reach 1 Hour 30 minutes before the test time at allotted Examination Centre.
3. The candidate has to produce his/her admit card having scanned photo and signature thereon at the start of the
exam along with the photo ID. If any candidate does not possess the scanned photo at his/her admit card, he/she
will be allowed to sit in the examination only if he/she produce admit card with pasted photograph attested by
the Gazetted Officer alongwith photo I-Card.
4. No candidate is permitted to use the paper, cellular phone, F.M. radio and even the calculator, any other
electronic device or weapon of any kind in the exam.
5. Drinking and smoking in the exam centre is strictly prohibited. A candidate found intoxicated or is found
smoking will be made to leave the examination hall and the result of the candidate will be cancelled.
6. Every candidate must ensure that they have taken the assigned seat. They are not allowed to change the seat
under any circumstances.
7. Differently abled candidates (only blind and handicapped from hands) are allowed to have a scribe with them. In
such cases they have to prove their genuineness and have to show the certificates of the scribes. The education
qualification of the scribe should be less than prescribed qualification for the post. The candidate will provide the
complete information about the scribe to the controller of the examination centre one day before the exam.
Differently abled candidates will be given compensatory time of at least 20 minutes per hour of examination.
8. No candidate will be permitted to leave the examination hall till the entire duration of the paper is completed.
However in some exceptional cases, the same may be allowed only with the permission of the Centre
Superintendent.
9. Use only Blue/Black ball point pen to darken the circle of correct response and other details in the OMR Answer
Sheet. In no case gel/ink pen or pencil should be used.
10. Candidates must mention the details as well as darken the ovals clearly at the desired places of the OMR Answer
Sheet. Overwriting or cutting in the OMR Answer Sheets may result in cancellation of exam.
11. There are 4 sets of question papers A, B,C & D. Candidates must write and darken the oval of their set on
the OMR Answer Sheet at all the desired places. If a candidate does not write and darken the oval of their
set on the OMR Answer Sheet at the appropriate place, his/her candidature will be considered as
cancelled.
12. All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) each carrying one mark with four alternatives out of
which one answer will be correct. Every correct answer carries '1' mark. There shall be no Negative
Marking.
13. Do not darken more than one circle of options for any question. A question with more than one darkened
response shall be considered wrong.
14. Please do not open the question paper booklet until you are told to do so. In case any candidate opens the
question paper booklet before the stipulated time, action may be initiated against him/her as per rules.
15. Do the rough work on the space given in the question paper booklet.
16. Candidates can carry Question Booklets with them only after the completion of Examination. The
candidates will also be provided carbon copy (Candidate’s Copy) of their OMR Answer Sheet.
