Sumasaklaw sa pag-aaral ng mga teorya, simulain at teknik sa pagsasalin ng mga tekstong literari at de-

literari. Layunin ng kursong ito na mahasa at matuto ang mga mag-aaral sa pagsasalin ng iba’t ibang anyo ng panitikan na

nasusulat sa wikang tiyak na Ingles at iba’t ibang wika sa Pilipinas.

B. MGA INAASAHANG MATUTUHAN SA KURSO

Sa pagtatapos ng kurso ang mga mag-aaral ay inaasahang:

A. Naipapamalas ang kaalaman at mga naunawaang hinngil sa mga simulain ng pagsasaling- wika

B. Nagagmit ang kaalaman at kakayahan upang makapagsalin ng mga materyales na nasusulat sa ingles at

iba’tibang wika sa Pilipinas

C. Nasusukat ang mga kaalaman sa pagsasalin sa Filipino ng mga materyales na nasusulat sa Ingles at Iba’t ibang

wika sa Pilipinas.
