Introduction
A technically perfected system of UPS
units and batteries with outstanding ben-
efits for the customer is now available to
ensure the uninterrupted supply of power
to electrical equipment with a single-
phase or three-phase mains connection
in the power range 10 to 2400 kVA.
Individual units have an output of up to
300 kVA

) and/or to increase
redundancy.
The units provide the load with an electri-
cal power supply in accordance with the
real on-line principle. This is done with no
interruptions of any kind and ensures a
constantly high-quality of supply. The use
of batteries with a back-up time of 60
minutes or more ensures a system which
safely bridges power failures.

Environmental protection
The latest regulations relating to environ-
mental protection are taken into consider-
ation during design, development and
production. The rules of Siemens AG for
protection of the environment are also
applied.
For example our material-saving design
contributes to the preservation of raw
materials and, with our battery manage-
ment system, a longer battery life is
ensured. The materials are marked for
better recycling.
Power dissipation from the power section
is reduced to a minimum with the latest
technological methods. This enables, for
example, the selection of a significantly
smaller air-conditioning system, thus
reducing customers' operating costs.
Quality management
The quality management system for
development, manufacturing, sales
and service is certified according to
DIN EN ISO 9001.
