Test Design Summary
• This blueprint is for the assessment of the 2025 South Carolina College- and Career- Ready
Standards for Mathematics.
• The assessment is not timed.
• The assessment consists of 50 operational test items.
• There will be additional field test items on the spring assessment.
• For 2026 only: Due to an increased number of field test items, the Spring 2026
administration of SC READY Math Grades 3-5 will be administered in two sessions over
two days: Math Part A and Math Part B.
• Test items cover a range of cognitive complexity levels and a range of difficulty levels.
• Item types that may appear are included on the SC READY Mathematics Grades 3-5 Item Types
and Descriptions.
• The South Carolina College- and Career-Ready Mathematical Process Standards are integrated
