Strokes Practice
Warm up – Try to trace over the following lines.
Make sure to hold the brush in the middle, not too close to the top or the bottom.
Thick line
Thin line
Press only the tip of the brush to the
paper very lightly. Draw quickly or
the line will be wobbly.
Tip!
Press down on the brush so a lot of
the bristles are touching the paper.
Tip!
Warm up
You can draw or write anything you like - here are some ideas to get you started. Why not try tracing
over the top?
Let's warm up to get used to using the brush! Try to hold the brush in the middle and one of the two
ways shown in the video.
Zig-Zags Loops (in both directions)
